KetchupTutor – Terms & Conditions

Welcome to KetchupTutor (“Platform,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our services, including our website, applications, and related services (collectively, the “Services”). By creating an account, booking a tutor, providing tutoring, or purchasing courses through KetchupTutor, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
1. Definitions
- Student/Parent: An individual or parent/guardian who uses the Platform to find tutors and book lessons.
- Tutor: An individual who provides tutoring services through the Platform.
- User: Any individual using KetchupTutor, including Students, Parents, and Tutors.
- Lesson: A tutoring session booked and paid for through the Platform.
- Multi-Session Course: A package of 6, 12, or 18 lessons purchased by a Student/Parent.
- Wallet/Credit: Platform-managed virtual credit used by Tutors or Students for security deposits or posting requests.
2. Platform Role
- KetchupTutor is a marketplace connecting Tutors and Students/Parents.
- We are not responsible for lesson outcomes or Tutor/Student behavior.
- Users can provide feedback using the “Review” form provided on the Platform.
- We do not guarantee that a Tutor will apply to any posted request.
3. Students & Parents
Eligibility
- Students under 15 years old must have a parent/guardian manage their account.
Payments & Credit System
- Students must pay via the Platform any activity outside the Platform is not supported.
- Students may purchase multi-session courses (6, 12 or 18 lessons)
- If a Student is not satisfied with a Tutor, KetchupTutor will either:
- Assign a new Tutor for remaining sessions, or
- Refund the value of unused sessions only, at KetchupTutor’s discretion.
- Students can request a tutor for free by usinglimited credits.
- Credits may be returned if the Student does not find a Tutor in time or as expected, at KetchupTutor’s discretion.
Cancellations & No-Shows
- Student no-show = 100% forfeited payment for that session.
Responsibilities
- Attend lessons on time, provide accurate information, and behave appropriately.
4. Tutors
Application & Lesson Acceptance
- Tutors use wallet credit as a security deposit , calculated as 50% of the expected wage for the first session.
- If a Tutor declines to teach after being selected by a Student, they receive 3 penalty chances. Exceeding this limit results in banning from the Platform.
- Tutors may appeal penalties , but final decisions are at KetchupTutor’s discretion.
Multi-Session Courses & Payments
- Tutors receive payment only after each session is completed and the Student confirms the lesson occurred.
- Platform Fee Structure:

| 18 sessions | 10% |
- After the first session , if the Student is satisfied and continues the course with the same Tutor, the remaining sessions are no longer under KetchupTutor’s responsibility.
No-Shows / Security Deposit
- Tutor fails to attend a booked lesson = ecurity deposit forfeited.
Responsibilities
- Provide lessons professionally, deliver quality service, maintain accurate information, and avoid off-platform transactions with Students.
5. Reviews and Ratings
- Users must provide accurate information and maintain the security of their accounts.
- KetchupTutor may suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms.
- Intellectual property on the Platform, including content, logos, and materials, is owned by KetchupTutor or licensed to us. Users may not copy, distribute, or use Platform content without permission.
6. Disclaimers & Liability
- Platform services are provided "as-is" และ"as available."
- KetchupTutor is not liable for lesson outcomes or any disputes between Users.
- Liability is limited to amounts paid through the Platform in rare disputes.
7. Amendments
- KetchupTutor reserves the right to update these Terms at any time.
- Continued use of the Services after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
8. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
- These terms are governed by the laws of Thailand.
- Any disputes shall be resolved under the jurisdiction of the courts in Thailand.
