Terms of Use for Students and Parents

Welcome to Ketchup Tutor! These Terms of Use are specifically for students and parents seeking tutoring services through our platform. By registering or using our services, you agree to the following terms:

1. Introduction

Ketchup Tutor connects students and parents with qualified tutors for personalized learning. By creating a post or booking a session, you agree to abide by these terms.

2. User Responsibilities

As a student/parent, you agree to:

Provide accurate information about your learning needs.
Pay for sessions through the platform as required.
Refrain from engaging in disintermediation, including:

Sharing personal contact details to bypass the platform.
Attempting to arrange sessions outside of Ketchup Tutor.

3. Payments and Refunds

Payment for the first session must be made through the platform.
Refund Policy:

If dissatisfied with the tutor: A partial refund (20% of the class fee) will be issued, and a new tutor will be assigned.
If the tutor does not show up:A full refund will be issued.
If the student cancels or does not show up: No refund will be provided.

4. Conflict Resolution

If the tutor does not contact you within 5 days, you will be notified to choose a new tutor.
For any issues, report them within 48 hours of the session completion for resolution.

5. Session Reviews

You will be prompted to leave a review and rating for the tutor after the session.
Timely submission of reviews ensures a smooth process for all parties.

6. Disciplinary Actions

First Offense of Disintermediation: Warning and potential temporary suspension.
Second Offense: Permanent termination of your account and deletion of associated data.

7. Account Termination

Ketchup Tutor reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these terms.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Thailand. Disputes will be resolved under Thai jurisdiction.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms periodically. Your continued use of the platform signifies acceptance of any changes.

Ketchup Tutor is a platform that connects tutors with students and parents seeking tutoring services. By signing up as a tutor, you agree to abide by these terms and conditions.

2. Tutor Responsibilities

As a tutor, you agree to:

Provide accurate information about your qualifications and experience.
Offer tutoring sessions that match the agreed schedule and requirements.
Maintain professionalism in all interactions with students and parents.
Use the platform for legitimate purposes and comply with applicable laws.
Refrain from engaging in disintermediation, including:

Sharing personal contact details to bypass the platform.
Attempting to arrange sessions outside of Ketchup Tutor.

3. Commission Fees

Ketchup Tutor charges a commission fee of 10%–30% on the payment for the first session or package deals.
The exact commission rate will be displayed when you accept a session or package.
Commission fees are subject to change, with prior notice provided.

4. Earnings and Payouts

Your earnings (minus the commission) will be held until the session is completed and reviews are received from both the student/parent and the tutor.
Prompt submission of reviews ensures timely payout.
If a student is dissatisfied, you will get paid the same and the credit will be released to you.

5. Conflict Resolution

If you are unable to contact a student/parent within 5 days, notify the platform to avoid deducting credits.
In case of a missed session, provide an explanation. Repeated no-shows may lead to account suspension.
Encourage students/parents to leave reviews promptly after the session.
